We love innovation, new ideas, and creative processes; Umvel consists of a team of young engineers, programming experts, designers and strategists, who are passionate about creating digital platforms, both in Mexico and the USA.Check out our website, or our LinkedIn profileObjectiveGenerate interfaces that meet product expectations and design systems that are functional, scalable, help maintain consistency across platforms and facilitate platform development.Roles and Responsibilities- Design seamless cross-platform interfaces for defined products.- Deliver pixel-perfect designs and congruent design guidelines- Maintain order in projects, in terms of component libraries and styling- Collaborate with the development and UX team- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and harmony to projects- Create design systems with scalability and adaptability of projects in mind- Quickly process customer feedback and iterate on designs or prototypesTechnical Expertise5+ years of experience as a UI designerAdvanced handling of Figma (Failing that: Sketch or Adobe XD)Experience managing design systemsKnowledge of iOS and Android design guidelinesFamiliar with wireframing and prototyping.Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.Ability to solve problems effectively and creativelyExcellent oral and written communication skillsYou’re (near) native English speakingImportant to share your portfolioWhat we can offer to you:- Greats project for A-clients, both in Mexico and US/Europe- Remote working- Creative freedom- Ability to grow and develop your skills on many levels (design, business, strategy)- Ability to part of the project team(s) and claim a leading role- A good salary (to be defined)- Flexible hours- Vacation time (after 6 months of working)- English classes for all levels- Insurance ‘Gastos médicos mayores’- Bonus system based on time in company- Growth plan
