Lead Manual Tester

We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Lead Manual Tester** to join our dynamic team.This role involves overseeing QA processes, managing and coordinating teams, ensuring high-quality testing standards, and acting as a crucial link between offshore and onsite teams in an innovative and challenging project environment.**Responsibilities**- Develop and adjust the Test Plan and Test Strategy based on project needs- Coordinate QA team activities such as planning, estimation, task prioritization, and control- Manage change processes and handle improvements under dynamic project situations while addressing risks- Create and update Jira dashboards, compile QA statistics, and deliver project status reports- Drive automation progress in coordination with the Pod- Provide sprint sign-offs and support production releases- Deliver constructive feedback to team members and ensure their professional growth- Represent the offshore team in resolving queries, highlighting issues, and fostering effective communication with onsite counterparts- Participate in grooming, planning, retrospectives, daily standups, and direct communication with stakeholders- Manage communication across a distributed team spanning USA, Belarus, and India, involving collaboration with leads of other Pods- Conduct functional testing of an e-commerce app across desktop, mobile web, native apps (iOS/Android), and backend functionalities- Perform web analytics testing using tools like Charles Proxy and Adobe Analytics- Analyze and review product requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with existing features- Write and verify defects to maintain quality standards**Requirements**:- 5+ years of experience in QA with a proven track record of successful projects- 1+ years of experience leading teams of 5-8 QA engineers- Background in mobile, API, and web services testing- Capability to define and enhance comprehensive Testing Strategy- Understanding of Agile methodologies to adapt to iterative workflows- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher to facilitate effective communication- Reliability and ability to work independently under mínimal supervision- Stress resistance and readiness to handle projects with challenging deadlines, unclear requirements, and evolving processes**Nice to have**- Proficiency in the BDD test approach and Gherkin language- Background in the e-commerce domain- Proactive attitude to identify and drive improvements**We offer**- Career plan and real growth opportunities- Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions- International Mobility Plan within 25 countries- Constant training, mentoring, online corporate courses, eLearning and more- English classes with a certified teacher- Support for employee’s initiatives (Algorithms club, toastmasters, agile club and more)- Enjoyable working environment (Gaming room, napping area, amenities, events, sport teams and more)- Flexible work schedule and dress code- Collaborate in a multicultural environment and share best practices from around the globe- Hired directly by EPAM & 100% under payroll- Law benefits (IMSS, INFONAVIT, 25% vacation bonus)- Major medical expenses insurance: Life, Major medical expenses with dental & visual coverage (for the employee and direct family members)- 13 % employee savings fund, capped to the law limit- Grocery coupons- 30 days December bonus- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- 12 vacations days plus 4 floating days- Official Mexican holidays, plus 5 extra holidays (Maundry Thursday and Friday, November 2nd, December 24th & 31st)- Monthly non-taxable amount for the electricity and internet billsEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
