**Médicos Sin Fronteras en México A.C.****Seeks****ER**Doctor**:**for International Humanitarian Missions**:**To join our team in International Projects(Minimum availability of 6 months)** Please upload your CV and motivation letter in English**:**THIS JOB PROFILE IS IN ENGLISH SINCE THIS IS THE REQUIRED LANGUAGE FOR THE JOB****OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION**Provide outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients/beneficiaries health conditions.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.- Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IDP patients, through daily visits, consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MSF protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments - in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient's evolution.- Check and control the rational distribution of medicines and equipment under his/her responsibility and take care the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material. Assure general compliance with standing hygiene standards.- Participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data, checking its validity and informing the line manager or project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patient's illness, medical error and monitors the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.- Ensure ongoing training of the medical/paramedical multidisciplinary team in order to optimize the quality of care.- Knows and ensures all MSF medical protocols are followed and implemented, checking universal precautions are followed at all times and reducing bio-hazard risks and improving infection control. Ensures professional confidentiality is respected.- Manage the team under his/her direct responsibility according to MSF HR policies and procedures, supervising their performance, organizing and scheduling shifts and rotations, directly participating in emergencies and on calls if necessary.**PROFILE****Education and formation**- **Essential**: General Physician Degree.- **Desirable**Specialty in Emergency Medicine or anesthesia specialization and/or REA/ICU.- **Desirable** diploma in tropical medicine**Experience**- **Essential**: minimum 2 years practicing as Doctor in ER or ICU/REA- Desirable work experience with MSF and other NGOs in developing countries**Languages**- **Essential**:English (B2 or higher level)- **Essential**: Spanish (C1 or higher level)- Knowledge of French will be an asset**Knowledge****Essential**computer literacy (word, excel, internet)**Competencies**- People Management and Development- Commitment to MSF Principles- Behavioral Flexibility- Results and Quality Orientation- Teamwork and Cooperation- Planning and Organising- Cross-cultural Awareness- Stress Management**POSITION CONDITIONS****Work Venue**: Where the needs of the project require it**Profits**:Monthly remuneration: in the first 12 months, the bonus approximate gross monthly is USD $1,500. From the second year remuneration increases based on experience (previous and acquired) and the level of responsibility in the field. Private insurance coverage that includes medical coverage and hospital, temporary disability and life insurance. The organization also has an arranged medical evacuation if necessary. The expenses of stay in the land are covered: housing, basic services, cleaning and washing. Other expenses such as transportation, visas, transfer to the country of destination and Displacements in the field will also be covered by MSF.
