**Role Description**:The IT Project Manager (infrastructure) serves as a link between the Information Technology team, Business users, and stakeholders. The role will involve understanding the system’s requirements, business functions and needs, and objectives regarding a wide variety of IT infrastructure project deliverables throughout USA. This person will be collaborating with functional and technical teams to drive change and improvements within areas such as virtual environments, servers, and networking, among others. The ideal person for this role will be able to create project plans from a high level in addition to being able to communicate with team members and stakeholders regarding technical specifications and roadmaps.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s Degree is required- **ENGLISH ADVANCED LEVEL**:- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux system administration- 4-5+ years’ experience working within a PMO environment within IT Infrastructure projects- Previous experience creating new project plans for IT Infrastructure projects (DR, virtual server implementations, High Availability, Cloud, hardening, Security, and/or monitoring, etc.) **A MUST**:- Knowledge of the ITIL fundamentals is required, certifications are highly desired- Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities, the ability to work with mínimal supervision, effectively manage systems, and clearly communicate status.- Experience working in a company based on ITIL environment (Change management, incident management, service management, etc.)**Preferred Requirements**:- **Previous banking/financial industry experience is a plus**:- ITIL and/or PMP certifications are all desired but not mandatory**Job Duties**:- Create project plans from high level and technical specifications, plan and estimate milestones & activities (effort/duration) and identify role/skills set per activity (system, OS, middleware).- Gather requirements working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive Infrastructure projects (Virtual Server environments, Cloud Platforms, Disaster Recovery, obsolescence, hardening, Security, monitoring, load balancing, virtualization, vulnerability/patching) to release & go-live, UAT and stakeholder management.- Prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations while documenting detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions using good documentation and writing practices.- Identify risks on time, propose strategies, workaround and risk mitigation actions proactively.- Define technical reporting and alerting requirements/validations in addition to developing relationship with partners in IT and Operations, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration between Operations, IT, and PMO.- Help design, document, and maintain system processes while participating in status meetings.Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
