Overview Senior Accountant, Americas Accounting – Bain & Company. Join Bain’s Global Financial Accounting function as a Senior Accountant for the Americas Accounting team. Responsibilities Perform month‑end financial close tasks, including preparing journal entries and reviewing workpapers. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across various areas. Lead analytical procedures such as month‑over‑month fluctuation analysis and financial reviews. Support the creation of monthly reporting packages for leadership. Coach and train junior team members while supporting their development. Maintain documentation and controls for accounting and reporting processes. Assist with internal and external audits and identify opportunities to strengthen controls. Contribute to various projects and help drive improvements to our close process and operational efficiency. Qualifications 4–6 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in a global environment. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls. Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor your message to the audience. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP S4 HANA Cloud is a plus. Detail‑oriented, proactive approach and a commitment to high‑quality work. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as part of a team. Mindset of professional skepticism and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
