America Steel Trade Corporation is an international trading company headquartered in North Miami, Florida. AST specializes in sourcing, exporting/importing, and distributing commodities to the North, Central and South American Markets.The Trade Finance Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating international trade transactions by ensuring the efficient processing and management of trade finance products. This position requires a deep understanding of global trade practices, financial instruments, and compliance regulations.- **Key Responsibilities**:_- Review financial statements of customers and analayze credit worthiness- Prepare company internal financial statements and make sure all invoices are in orders- Process and manage a variety of trade finance transactions including letters of credit, documentary collections, and open account transactions.- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.- Review and validate trade documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.- Act as the primary point of contact for clients involved in trade finance entities.- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless execution of trade finance transactions.- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.- Regular reporting on cash and facility usage, including review of bank costs, products and contracts.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in trade finance operations and/or banks operations.- Accounting experience- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in trade finance software and systems.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Good understanding of the Commodity Trade Finance Business, including, but not limited to, Letters of Credit, Trade Guarantees, Bonds, Collections, ARP, Factoring, Supplier finance.- Fluent in **English** and **Spanish.****Benefits**:- Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.- Yearly bonuses.- Vacation time.- Training opportunities.Pay: From $13,600.00 per monthApplication Question(s):- Do you have experience with factoring receivables?- Do you have any experience in the Trade Finance area?- Do you have accounting skills?**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- trade finance: 4 years (preferred)**Language**:- Spanish (required)- English (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in 66260, San Pedro Garza García, N.L.
