Enough about us, let's talk about you As our remote HR Manager, your mission is simple: Help us find and keep amazing people across the globe. We're looking for someone who's warm, crazy organized, and loves making systems that actually work. You'll be our first in-house HR hire, owning everything from hiring to onboarding to making sure our team is legally buttoned-up and wildly effective. No red tape. No corporate BS. Just clear, smart people ops built for a high-performing (and fun) remote team. If you love helping people thrive, obsess over processes, and want to be the glue that holds a fast-growing team together, this is your gig. What You'll Do Own recruitment end-to-end: job postings, sourcing, screening, and hiring top-tier talent Build and run an onboarding process that makes new hires feel like rockstars from day one Create and document internal systems, policies, and processes (think handbooks, performance reviews, scorecards, etc.) Be a friendly, trusted resource for our team—answer questions, solve problems, and support our people Ensure legal compliance across contracts, payroll setups, PTO, and everything in between Keep your finger on the pulse of team morale, retention, and communication—and help us keep leveling up Partner with leadership to make sure our people strategy scales with the business What You'll Need 3+ years of hands-on HR experience, ideally in a startup, agency, or fast-paced remote team You've built systems from scratch or taken a messy HR setup and made it clean, useful, and scalable Ridiculously organized - you're the kind of person who color-codes their calendar and their closet A warm, people-first personality—someone the team trusts and wants to talk to Clear written and spoken communication—professional but approachable You're resourceful, proactive, and don't wait around for permission to fix something that's broken Bonus Points You've supported teams in the marketing or agency world You've led trainings, performance reviews, or org design work You've helped scale a company from 10 to 50+ people and loved the chaos You're low-drama, big-impact, and secretly love compliance checklists Why People Love Working At Service Scalers Work from wherever—the internet is our office Paid vacation and maternity/paternity leave "Work hard, play hard" is how we roll We help each other win—"that's not my job" isn't in our vocabulary You'll be part of a fast-growing team that actually cares and has fun doing it
