You’ll Support Meaningful Work By: Developing plans, applications, and design work based on project needs and providing creative input Creating relevant and on-brand design solutions that represent concepts and ideas aligned with the Steelcase portfolio Collaborating with internal teams such as product marketing, communications, and visualization to support varied projects Translating research insights into conceptual designs and applications for marketing initiatives Consulting on internal projects and initiatives to provide design expertise and recommendations Planning space layouts and conceptual designs while incorporating knowledge of materials and finishes Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture 2–4 years of professional experience developing design proposals, working with materiality, and creating conceptual layouts Fluent in spoken and written English at a professional level Ability to translate client needs into meaningful applications, design concepts, and presentations following established templates Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve design needs Knowledge and/or experience with materials (fabrics, paints, architectural finishes) Experience modeling simple architectural elements in SketchUp Portfolio showcasing relevant design work Desired Skills And Experience Familiarity with Enscape and Veritas Knowledge of the global Steelcase portfolio Proficiency in pCon, SketchUp, PowerPoint, and Miro Experience translating research into design concepts Knowledge of generative AI tools Mentoring experience Previous experience working in an architecture or interior design firm Doing better for people and planet Steelcase is a global design and thought leader in the world of work.
