Responsible for proactively identifying, qualifying and soliciting business, handling inquiries, prospecting clients and developing accounts according to Sales Team Deployment in support of achieving individual and regional revenue goals.
Work with the Commercial Directors in establishing and executing goals and monthly/quarterly/annual action plans related to the international market segments.
Maintains complete and up-to-date lead information on C4C data base and assign leads based on Sales Deployment and administrate proposals and contracts for international agreements.
Develops effective sales plans and actions to create opportunities to grow the account base.
Coordinate creative site inspections with the hotel teams respectively.
Maintain current Sales and promotional literature and have a complete knowledge of hotel's services and facilities.
Coordinate sales trip preparation to include itineraries, organizing and preparing collateral, creating presentations, preparing photos, giveaways, customer gifts and ship ahead to destinations. Complete expense reports post trip and submit for payment.
Prepare and disseminate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
Assist with the compilation of competitive intelligence information. Attend all Sales meetings.
The position is accountable for handling large group and individual B2B customer segments related to opportunities with significant revenue potential within the group booking parameters
Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue for hotel portfolio.
Aligns customer profile with the appropriate product.
Turns business over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery in accordance with brand standards.

College degree preferred, and/or 5 years of industry related experience with 4 years of sales equivalent experience within international markets.
Bi-lingual English-Spanish a must, Portuguese ideal, other languages a strong plus.
Excellent presentation, writing skills, and computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite essential. Lanyon and Agency360 experience preferred.
Must have strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and organization is a must.
Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision in a fast moving environment.
Problem solver and ability to think “outside the box”.
Analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation.
Minimal supervisory experience is a strong asset.
