Job Description

As our Value & Access Sr Manager (LAN - Latin America North) you will boost Biogen's business results in Mexico and Colombia by effectively positioning its portfolio with payers, accounts, and other stakeholders. This is accomplished through the development of value-based messages, technical tools, and value-added strategies. You will also oversee the strategic management of Biogen's value proposition in both markets by closely analyzing customer needs, understanding their decision drivers, and implementing account strategies to ensure coverage and market share for Biogen's portfolio.

The key responsibilities of this position include planning, executing, and overseeing pricing, health economics, and market access reimbursement strategies, projects and activities to achieve LAN's objectives. In addition, you'll be in charge of supporting the development and implementation of negotiation strategies and value proposition for assigned therapeutic areas.

This position will assist in all strategic and tactical activities, such as HEOR evidence, technical dossiers, Market Access Tools, KPIs, and Pricing Strategy to support reimbursement and Market Access Strategy for Colombia and Mexico. Therapeutic Areas covered include Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and potentially new pipeline products.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English and Spanish;
  • Degree in healthcare sciences, economics, business or similar;
  • +5 years of experience in similar roles in multinational healthcare companies;
  • Deep knowledge of the Mexican healthcare system (private and public) -Colombian market is a plus;
  • Health economics and outcome research knowledge;
  • Experience in specialty care (high cost/rare diseases highly desirable);
  • Proven past experience in building relationships with internal and external senior level stakeholders (i.e. government contacts, healthcare providers);

Additional Information

  • Mexico City based, but hybrid model (2x a week at the office is required);
  • Reports to the Head of Market Access LAN (Mexico & Colombia);
  • No direct team;
