The Candidate
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Brand Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of brand management and marketing initiatives. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for building and nurturing successful brands.

The Role
As a Brand Specialist (Brand Manager) at Birdman, you will play a crucial role in driving the brand's growth and success. With at least 3 years of proven experience in marketing or brand management, you will lead initiatives to enhance brand presence and relevance. Your strong analytical skills will be key in interpreting data to drive strategic decisions, while your excellent project management abilities will enable you to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Effective communication in both English and Spanish will be essential as you collaborate across diverse teams, and your creative thinking and problem-solving abilities will be instrumental in developing innovative brand strategies. Additionally, your familiarity with market research and consumer behavior analysis will be valuable in understanding and engaging our target audience. Overall, as a Brand Specialist at Birdman, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the brand's success and growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
1. Brand Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics monthly, in line with brand positioning.
- Utilize data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

2. Marketing Initiatives:
- Lead and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive consumer engagement: creating creative briefs, managing agencies, social media and influencer marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns.

3. Packaging Projects:
- Project manage packaging initiatives from concept to execution along the creative team. The Brand specialist is responsible for insights that are relevant to brand penetration increase.
- Ensure packaging designs align with brand identity and market trends working with the creative team.

4. Market Insights:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies to strengthen the brand's position in the market.

5. New Launches:
- Act as the project leader for new product launches, overseeing all aspects from ideation to market introduction (from the marketing side).
- Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches.

6. Brand Management:
- Develop and implement brand management strategies to maintain and enhance brand equity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

7. Brand Manuals and Guidelines:
- Create and maintain brand manuals, guidelines, and playbooks for internal and external use.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards across all departments and external partners.

Requirements

Proven work experience of at least 5 years as an HR specialist or leader in a small company.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 year-proven experience in marketing or brand management, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication in both English and Spanish and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with market research and consumer behavior analysis.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • At least intermediate skills in MS Office (Word and Excel).

Desirable Requirements

  • A combination of agency and industry experience.
  • Master's degree in Marketing and Digital.
  • Proficient in PowerBI.
  • Previous brand management in a lifestyle brand.
