The Opportunity
This position works out of our Mexico City office for our Cardiac Rhythm Management [CRM] Division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
The Marketing Manager is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the CRM division in Latin America. This role will focus on marketing strategy and launch for Latin America, and will work closely with the sales team and will be managing others. Responsible for aspects of strategy development and execution - includes Forecasting, Financial and Marketing Plan Development, Sales Materials, Pricing, and Materials Management.Â
Will maintain product expertise for CRM products/franchises, including market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance, benefits, weaknesses and positioning. Provide ongoing field support and will focus on growing the market awareness for CRM devices, including successful product launch and execution.
What Youâll Do
- Maintain LATAM region market expertise for CRM, including in-depth knowledge of competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market/franchise critical success factors, and customer needs.
- Develop strategies and plans to drive product awareness and market development.
- Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or other situation assessment.
- Create and develop Latin America specific strategies for new product commercialization.
- Support launch readiness by developing product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with communications manager to develop promotional collateral.
- Take a leadership role on project teams to work closely with the project team to drive accountability and team achievement of goals and milestones.
- Manage creative agencies to plan, develop, and execute new materials.
- Partner with regulatory colleagues in the review and negotiation of materials to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Develop plan and sales forecasts and justification for respective product and present to BU senior management.
Required Qualifications
- B.S., Marketing, Business or Science. MBA preferred.Â
- 10 years of marketing experience required.
- Five yearâs marketing management experience.
- Job requires substantial financial skills, market analysis and advanced communication skills.
- Knowledge/ability to develop and execute a "new" product launch.
- Must be able to understand technical and scientific information.
- Must be willing to understand and comply with Regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to influence and motivate individuals from sales, marketing, and other functional areas to drive product awareness and projects.
- Must be able to complete multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
- Travel required 30-40% of the time.
