Job Description:

This position is responsible for designing, developing and implementing new and improved products, packs, processes and raw materials, translating specs into actual running conditions on factory lines. Is responsible for reducing unplanned line losses & providing technical continuity within a value stream to enable consistent performance

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related scientific or technical disciplines would be required
  • Relevant 1+ year experience in close related industry would be required
  • Analysis of data to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operation
  • Demonstrated success in influencing/leading others
  • Experience in manufacturing floor
  • Specialization in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma essential
  • Problem-solving
  • Ability to work in multifunctional teams
  • Project Management experience or leading continuous improvement initiatives

What will be your key responsibilities?
    • Continuous Improvement Program Administration

    Responsible for coordinating and managing tools and resources that support the creation of a Continuous Improvement culture. Works in conjunction with the operations team in executing the strategies of each functional area to ensure they are aligned with the overall business needs and the use of tools for each situation. Responsible for developing the capability to solve problems at all levels of the manufacturing organization.

    • ​Alignment of Corrective Action Program within MSE Implementation

    Responsible for leading, facilitating, and/or supporting initiatives or problem-solving efforts that impact the plant's priority KPIs. Ensures effective deployment of Continuous Improvement tools through the internal corrective action management processes. Responsible for aligning the use of Continuous Improvement tools within MSE implementation. Responsible for providing coaching to associates for simple problem-solving.

    • Leads Improvement Initiatives Impacting Plant Priorities

    Deploys the use of Continuous Improvement tools (Kaizen, MSE, Root Cause, etc.) in operations to support achieving CBN plant priority objectives. Provides technical support for complex/ongoing problems for the Value Stream. Develops, updates, and owns clear action plans for resolving complex problems. Works with the value stream and the reliability engineer to analyze unplanned technical losses in the production line.

    • Trains the Operations Team

    Trains the operations team on work methods to ensure that operational and maintenance processes are followed. Establishes strategic partnerships with other areas for the implementation of Continuous Improvement and MSE tools according to plant priorities.
