Creative Strategist (Paid Social – Meta) Location: LATAM or South Africa (preferred)Type: Full-time, Remote (Independent Contractor)Compensation: $2,000–$3,000 USD / monthReports to: Founder About our company: Our client is a performance-driven creative agency helping brands scale through high-velocity, paid social advertising. We specialize in Meta-first creative—short-form, scroll-stopping ads built for testing, iteration, and results. Our team includes in-house designers and editors, with the founder currently owning creative strategy. As we grow, we’re looking to bring on an internal Creative Strategist to sit between strategy and execution—translating insights into briefs that the creative team can move on quickly and confidently.

This is not a client-facing role. It’s an internal, execution-focused position designed to increase creative output, quality, and consistency. The Role As a Creative Strategist, you’ll be responsible for turning research, performance insights, and loose ideas into clear, actionable creative direction for our designers and editors. You’ll work closely with the founder to offload strategic thinking, structure ideas, and ensure the creative team is producing ads that are both compelling and performance-oriented.

This role is ideal for someone who understands what makes paid social ads work, enjoys operating in ambiguity, and thrives in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.

Key Responsibilities

Research competitors, angles, hooks, and trends within paid social (Meta-first). Develop creative concepts, ad angles, and messaging frameworks that perform. Write or outline high-level scripts, hooks, and copy for short-form ads. Translate strategic direction into clear, actionable creative briefs.

Act as the internal bridge between the founder and the creative team. Review creative output to ensure alignment with strategy and performance goals. Use AI tools (e.g., GPT, Claude) to accelerate research, ideation, and iteration. Continuously refine creative direction based on feedback and performance signals.

What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of paid social advertising, especially Meta. Proven ability to ideate and structure ad concepts that drive performance.

Experience

working with designers and editors in a fast-turn environment. Research-driven mindset with strong creative intuition. Comfortable with ambiguity and minimal hand-holding. Proactive, organized, and execution-oriented.

Excellent written communication (clear briefs, scripts, and direction). Nice to Have Background in performance marketing, growth, or creative strategy roles.

Experience

working at or with agencies. Familiarity with high-volume ad testing environments. Prior experience supporting founders or small, fast-moving teams. Why This Role Matters This role exists to: Free up founder time currently spent on creative strategy.
