Manufacturing operations reside in Hendersonville, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Plympton, MA, Christiansburg, VA, Acuna, MX and Tijuana, MX.Job DescriptionKey AccountabilitiesConduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligenceAssess the credit and financial strength of customers by performing fundamental credit analysis of customers using both quantitative and qualitative factors.Proactively perform collection of trade customer balances and credit assessment of the accounts on the portfolio.Assess the credit status on the accounts and release orders accordinglyCollaborate and improve our existing risk modeling techniques and scoring systems.Track credit limit recommendations, exposures, and payment history for existing clientsUpdate systems (create and modify customers in SAP).Maintain risk databases updated with accurate and reliable informationQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, business administration and/or financeMinimum of two years of experience working in credit processes.Fluent in EnglishDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using SAPUnderstanding of business, financial, and accounting concepts.Experience with Credit Risk methodologiesExperience in Accounts Receivable.Fundamental analytical skills, including an understanding of key financial components (liquidity position, leverage profile).Demonstrates ability to identify potential risk issues that need escalation and escalates them promptlyAbout youSolid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulationsExcellent communication, research, problem solving.Credit and integrated risk management.Organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manages time and priorities effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority.Additional InformationAdditional Information #J-18808-Ljbffr
