Job Title: Human Resources Manager Department: Human Resources Reports To: Executive Leadership Location: Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico Lavé Apparel Industries is a vertically integrated apparel manufacturing and private-label company serving US-based brands. Our operations include product development, sourcing, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery, quality control, logistics, and distribution. We are building a disciplined, scalable organization focused on operational clarity, accountability, and long-term growth. Our people systems must be as strong as our production systems. Role Overview The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all HR functions for Lavé Apparel’s Tijuana operations. This role ensures legal compliance, workforce stability, and the development of clear, enforceable people systems that support operational excellence and company culture. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong knowledge of Mexican labor law, practical problem-solving, and the ability to work closely with management and employees at all levels. Key Responsibilities Lead all HR operations for the Tijuana facility Ensure full compliance with Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) and related regulations Manage IMSS, INFONAVIT, payroll taxes, and labor filings Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and terminations Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution Prepare for and support STPS inspections and audits Partner with leadership on organizational structure, staffing, and workforce planning Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting Protect confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of HR management experience in Mexico Strong working knowledge of Mexican labor law and compliance requirements Experience managing manufacturing or operations-based workforces Proven ability to implement HR systems and policies in growing organizations Excellent communication, judgment, and leadership skills Bilingual: Spanish (native or fluent) and English (professional working proficiency) Preferred Qualifications Experience in apparel manufacturing or similar production environments Success in This Role Looks Like Legal compliance with no preventable labor issues Stable, well-managed workforce with clear expectations Managers supported with consistent HR guidance Employees understand policies, benefits, and performance standards HR systems that scale with company growth Compensation and Benefits Salary: $4,500 MXN NET weekly Benefits: According to the Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT), including social security, vacation, and other statutory benefits How to Apply Please submit your resume in Englishalong with a brief cover letter explaining why you are an ideal candidate for the Human Resources Manager role, and a short summary of your HR experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
