The Financial Planning and Analysis Supervisor will work directly with Operations and Finance leaders to provide a wide range of financial and decision support, including the preparation and maintenance of short & long-term cost of goods sold, inventory and departmental OpEx and CapEx forecasts, evaluation of new initiatives, and other ad-hoc projects.This position will provide key analytic support for all financial planning and analysis of the operations organization including, but not limited to, the Company’s rolling four-quarter forecast, annual operating plan, three-year plan, management & board reporting. The Financial Planning and Analysis Supervisor role will work on site at Vapotherm’s manufacturing facility in Tijuana. Verbal and written communication in both Spanish and English at a B2 level or above is required.Primary Responsibilities:Perform cost of goods sold & inventory planning, forecasting, and budget vs. actual analysis to support the operations leadersWork directly with operations and finance leaders to develop, report and track key operating metricsMaintain and analyze operational data to support operational efficiency and assist with developing and implementing process improvement initiativesProvide essential contributions to the efficacy of operations through identification, analysis and maintenance of data; supporting management in the development and implementation of process improvements and initiatives.Conduct business case forecasting and review for business decision support, including new operations initiativesPrioritize the development of systems to support planning, reporting and analysis and support the implementation and enhancements of the new and existing electronic FP&A systemsPosition Requirements - Education, Knowledge, Years of Experience, etc. :3+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experienceFluency in both Spanish and English at a B2 level or aboveProven experience in data analysis and business strategy developmentPrior experience in a manufacturing business function, maquiladora, medical device industry a plusStrong communication, analytical and financial modeling skillsProficient in Excel. Prior experience with ERP (Epicor), Planful & CRM software, a plusWorking knowledge of US GAAP
