Transformation Senior Consultant – Execution at Astellas Pharma Astellas’ Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are strategically located sites that give Astellas the ability to access talent across various functions in the value chain and to co‑locate core capabilities that are currently dispersed. Our three GCCs are located in India, Poland and Mexico. The GCCs will enhance our operational efficiency, resilience and innovation potential, enabling a timely response to changing business demands. Purpose and Scope Works as part of a team within one or more strategic initiatives in a CxO Function or enterprise wide. Supports the Transformation Office leadership team in the development and building of critical transformation capabilities for the successful execution of Astellas’ transformation agenda. Coaches more junior members of the team as applicable. Role and Responsibilities Works with Transformation Managing Principals, Principals and Lead Consultants on one or more strategic initiatives within a CxO Function (or enterprise‑wide as needed) as part of the initiative team Could lead small workstreams of strategic initiatives depending on experience, managing all resources involved (people and non‑payroll budget) Supports in the identification and building of coalition of key stakeholders and sponsors to help deliver such strategic initiatives Supports in the coordination with other transformation initiatives to ensure alignment and in the delivery to initiatives targets, flagging deviations prior to them occurring where needed Supports the Transformation Office leadership team in the development and building of one or more transformation capabilities Supports the Transformation Office leadership team in the execution of the Transformation Office strategy Coaches other junior team members globally as applicable, depending on experience Team headcount (including indirect reports): 3‑5 (when managing a small workstream within one or more strategic initiatives within a CxO Function) Contribution to achieve CSP Performance Goals by being part of teams working on one or more strategic initiatives within a CxO Function that delivers part of the annual operational cost saving or revenue increase Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field 5+ years of transformation execution experience with a proven track record of delivering transformational change initiatives within complex organizations Equivalent experience of a Consulting Manager of a management consulting organization Awareness of the strategic context for Astellas Good project management skills, with the ability to manage small workstreams and deliver results within specified timelines and budgets Good change management skills, consistent past delivery of varied types of projects in relevant areas of the business Ability to recognize complex situations and use multiple formal and informal methods to find solutions, as well as the networking and influencing skills to drive change in senior and mid‑level leaders Ability to present complex issues to management and contribute to discussions in order to drive decision‑making Proven experience in executing change and managing resistance within an organization Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment Location This position is based in Mexico City (Santa Fe) and will require on‑site work in a hybrid set‑up.
