We are searching the best talent for Legal Manager to be in Mexico City. Purpose Junior Legal Manager reporting directly to the Johnson & Johnson Law Department, will be part of a team providing dedicated support as part of Janssen Mexico Law Department Team, providing effective and efficient Legal Advise to the operational team level of Janssen ´s Mexico operations. Responsibilities The types of contracts could include (but are not limited to: consulting agreements, market research and outcomes research agreements, confidentiality agreements, HCC related agreements, and other general agreements within the Commercial and / or Corporate functions.) Be the Primary business lawyer that will provide broad legal counsel and general legal guidance at operational team level for Janssen Mexico operations. Be responsible for providing operational legal advice and counsel in all areas of law (except Labor issues), so as to support the pharma business and help them achieve their goals, while protecting the company's rights, interests and reputation. Be responsible for managing the contract processes and the everyday agreements, and keeping the various contract templates up to date. Identify best practices and support strategic initiatives while collaborating with other functional and / or commercial areas. Conduct training and perform monitoring activities and audits (internal and external scope). Partner with other members of the Law Department, the broader Procurement community, Finance, Health Care Compliance, Global Clinical Operations and internal business partners, at the operational level, as appropriate, in continued efforts to streamline contract related processes as well as integrate templates in an effort to improve turnaround times to a growing client base. Review and negotiate agreements, including review of redlines and providing related support for the business / categories aligned to the position throughout the contracting process. Identify and address training for other commercial contracting related needs of internal business partners on an as needed basis, including the community of contract champions within the Supplier Contracting Services team. Facilitate internal contract approval and stakeholder negotiation to resolve sophisticated issues and assist in disputes (bringing up sophisticated legal and factual issues to the appropriate internal parties, e.g. Health Care Compliance, Privacy, Johnson & Johnson Law Department). Be Liaison with HCC in compliance matters and Procurement, both in a daily basis and performing investigations and audits. Handle corporate governance functions (board and shareholders annual meetings, power of attorneys issuance) and the relationship with notaries. Maintain the relationship with Law Firms and to perform administrative activities (control the contracts, the authorization of invoices, register Law firms for procurement purposes, receive periodic and annual reports). Advise business on its copy clearance materials, regulatory materials and internet-related activities. Qualifications Lawyer degree from a nationally recognized university. License to practice law in Mexico. At least 5 years of relevant legal experience since qualification. Fluent in written and spoken English. Valid driver's license.
