Responsibilities Develop and implement the value propositions for the mining sector in Latin America. Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers in the Latin America mining sector. Manage, coach, and champion the professional development of Mining sector business development managers and peers in the Latin America region. Analyze competitors and develop counter strategies within business units. Work closely with Marketing and Global Sector Team to ensure effective messaging and strategy. Analyze and prioritize market opportunities and projects. Stay informed about new entrants / players, market developments, growth rates, and technological innovation. Qualifications Strong experience in the mining sector, preferably in mining companies, service or equipment supplier, with previous experience in Latin America. Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or related field, with a specialization in sales. Fluency in English and Spanish mandatory. Portuguese is a plus. Willingness to travel within Latin America. Extensive network of mining client contacts in Latin America, including international mining companies, local mining companies in the region, mining service companies / EPC groups. Previous experience in business development, sales and / or operations with a track record of meeting sales targets. Proven ability to execute strategy development plans, market development, account management and competitor analysis.
