Position Overview The Property Management Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day execution of leasing, maintenance, resident communications, and workflow compliance. This role manages coordinators, enforces SLAs, handles escalations, and ensures that all tasks move through a well-defined operating rhythm. The ideal candidate brings strong residential PM experience, excellent written communication, and familiarity with standard U.S. property management tools. Key Responsibilities Oversee leasing, maintenance, and resident support coordinators to ensure deadlines and SLAs are consistently met. Monitor task queues, workload distribution, and workflow adherence across the team. Handle owner and resident escalations with strong written communication and judgment. Review and approve notices, lease drafts, and standard documentation. Maintain system hygiene across PM, CRM, and maintenance platforms. Ensure repeatable processes, predictable turn times, and clear escalation pathways. Coordinate with leadership to report bottlenecks, risks, and operational insights. Support onboarding and training of coordinators as needed. Qualifications 2–5+ years of residential property management operations experience. Hands‑on experience with U.S.-based PM workflows (leasing, renewals, maintenance, resident relations). Demonstrated supervisory or team‑lead experience. Strong written English communication suitable for resident and owner correspondence. Experience working in structured or process‑driven PM organizations. Proficiency in PM, maintenance, or CRM software (e.g., Buildium, LeadSimple, PropertyMeld, or similar tools). Nice to Haves Experience in a 500–2,500-unit property management environment. Prior experience in both leasing and maintenance operations. Process improvement or workflow optimization experience. Knowledge of U.S. housing regulations and best practices.
