This role is part of a high performing team of Application Support specialists who provide world‑class support for Commercial Engineering. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operations for the applications you support, working as part of a larger global team, continuously improving our global enterprise. You will manage ongoing incident detection & resolution, change planning & implementation, and compliance for a portfolio of applications and infrastructure built on Salesforce, Order Capture, Conga, Ortoo, Copado, Java, Linux, Microsoft, relational databases, message queuing, AWS cloud services, and more. About The Role Deliver reliable infrastructure and application operations according to business expectations across the application portfolio. Partner with application development teams to deliver operational readiness for new applications and features. Collaborate with stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, and project management to define roadmaps for applications and processes. Drive continual service improvement and innovation in productivity, software quality, and reliability, including meeting/exceeding SLAs. Have a thorough understanding of ITIL processes related to incident management, problem management, application life cycle management, and operational health management. Support applications built on modern application architecture and cloud infrastructure including Salesforce, Order Capture, Copado, Java, Linux, JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS/JS, Node.js, TypeScript, jQuery, Docker, AWS/Azure. Monitor and analyze business operational and technical key metrics. Effectively articulate complex problems, concepts, and solutions to varied audiences. Contribute to the strategy of the department and drive implementation of department goals that support the company’s core values. Participate in complex initiatives such as large‑scale upgrades. Partner with security, data center, and service governance teams to deliver compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications. Ensure documentation, processes, and procedures are updated regularly. Participate in a continuous learning culture and a curiosity about emerging technologies. About You 2+ years of experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Computer Science or related technical degree preferred. Fluent in speaking and writing English. Experience supporting applications built on modern application architectures and cloud infrastructures, Salesforce (sales and service cloud), admin and/or development experience, Order Capture, Copado, APEX, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL, etc. Strong knowledge of Salesforce security schema and objects; able to create custom objects, workflows, validation rules and reports. Knowledge of user profile information, permission sets, role hierarchy. Desirable experience in Salesforce IDE (Force.com) and building code in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Experience participating in projects and initiatives even with ambiguous details. Knowledge of main Sales cloud configurations: administration of objects such as Contact, Opportunity and Lead. Design workflows, flows, process builders to create and automate approvals, generate pipelines. Knowledge of main Service cloud configurations: community maintenance, knowledge, mass email, omnichannel, social service. CTI connectivity support. Associate Certified and/or Administrator Certified preferred.
