Their commitment to a 'customer success, first and always' philosophy ensures a rewarding and forward‑thinking workplace for driven professionals.Mainframe Application Support Engineer (z/OS / COBOL)ResponsibilitiesProvide application support for mainframe‑based systems running on IBM z/OS.Support and maintain COBOL applications, ensuring stability and performance.Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs using JCL, including scheduling and execution issues.Work with mainframe subsystems such as CICS, DB2, IMS, and MQ to resolve application incidents.Analyze and resolve database‑related issues in IBM DB2 environments.Use REXX scripts for automation and operational support when required.RequirementsStrong understanding of IBM z/OS operating system and architecture.Proficiency in COBOL for application support.Hands‑on experience with JCL for batch processing and job scheduling.Knowledge of mainframe subsystems: CICS, DB2, IMS, and MQ.Experience working with IBM DB2 databases, including SQL queries and basic performance tuning.Familiarity with REXX scripting for automation and support tasks.LanguagesAdvanced Oral English.Native Spanish.NoteFully remote.If you meet these qualifications and are pursuing new challenges, start your application on our website to join an award‑winning employer.
