The Job

The Mexico City Warehouse Specialist will be required to coordinate the daily activities between Ace Hardware International and the administrative personnel from the third-party logistics provider (3PL) that participate on the inventory management functions.   

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee that imports are duly registered in the system of 3PL and Ace Hardware International.
  • Manage all tasks of inventory in SAP Business One application system.
    • Register transfers between virtual warehouses according to the condition of the product (salable, damaged, rework, sample)
    • Review and monitor inventory adjustments.
    • Responsible of product return from vendors or customers
    • Review finance observations on inventory discrepancies theorical check.
  • Coordinate with Import Coord all the containers that we going to receive throughout the month and ETA of receipt in conjunction with 3PL for resources and process receiving (RDS or Overseas).
  • Coordinate the process of Bin Check when verification of a product is required.
  • Coordinate and monitor the process of Rework when required to make changes in product presentation (case pack, re-labeling, etc.).
  • Monitor the cycle count per week on the 3PL and prepare monitoring reports.
  • Prepare the KPI report consolidating information from different sources and the MBR with 3PL.
  • Coordinate the destruction of damaged products.
  • Tote management on the 3PL.
  • Monitor of supplies within the 3PL
  • Coordinate the distribution of product to stores with the 3PL and transportation companies (Weekly calendar to shop).
  • Review of 3PL and local distribution invoices for further managerial approval. And every closing of the month reviewing and confirming the monthly provision and approved and confirmed by SC Manager and finance.
  • Every year doing a transportation Bid and every 3 years a 3PL Bid process in conjunction with SC Manager, Legal and Finance (Bid Process, quotations, SWOT analysis, NDA, legal contract, and BC format proposal).

What you will need:

Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years warehouse experience or other relevant work
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
  • Ability to process Information including calculating, auditing, analyzing, and/or verifying information or data.
  • Interacting with computers to set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Strong Communication skills - Communicating with superiors, peers, or subordinates.
  • Ability to operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment.
  • Use two-way radio or mobile phone.
  • Maintain safe work environment.

  • Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 50 F degrees)     temperatures
  • Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions
  • Moderate noise, conditions could include odors, dusts, mists, gases or poor ventilation.
