Senior Specialist, IT Relationship Management

OverviewBusiness Relationship manager – SAP OTCWe are looking for senior IT SAP OTC Functional team member (5-10 years’ experience). You’ll work closely with our business users and subject matter experts in the business, along with other SAP Functional IT Business Relationship Managers. Celanese in a highly collaborative, fast moving environment where iteration speed and execution matter. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and is passionate about building scalable and efficient applications and work independently. They will act as a liaison between technical team, Business users, Vendors and other IT Functional team members.ResponsibilitiesFacilitates the implementation and support of IT solutions to enhance Celanese business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfactionDesign, configuration and testing in various SAP Modules with Focus on OTC , Logistics areaDesign, configuration and testing of interfaces to 3rd party systems/Hubs (EDI, IDoc,Code reviews of solutions/enhancements with SAP ABAP developersAnalyze the current business processes and scenarios of Celanese and recommend/develop solutions to meet the required needResponsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instruction on SAP products to customersTransfer of (local/regional) customer requirements to globally aligned and sustainable IT solutionsCarry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved proceduresDevelop and evaluate plans and criteria to be carried out by others; provides direction and leadership to prioritize IT projects for CX/Supply ChainConsiders and seeks detailed knowledge of industry best practicesManage or participate in new IT implementations (for example M&As, divestures, new SAP modules or new systems)Acts as liaison with customers/stakeholders for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, solve and test problems/tickets and map Celanese business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy needsAlways assures quality solutions considering integration aspects into other functions like finance, manufacturing, purchasing etc. and intensive plans for positive, negative and regression testingMaintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards (Safety, Security, PMO, operational guidelines, Culture)QualificationsBS or BBA in Information Technology, Business or related fieldSAP configuration experience10 years + professional experience with a 5-7 years minimum of SAP configuration experienceOrder Management: Sales Orders, Pricing, Outputs, ATP, Allocation, Listing/Exclusion, Blocks, user exits, liner booking, EDI interfaces (Idocs, Bots,…), master data (material, customer, CMIR…), Fiori, Reporting/AnalyticsLogistics: STO, logistics, deliveries, shipments, shipment cost documents, picking, packing, handling units, batch management, batch search strategies, outputs, copy control, WM, inventory management, scanning, EDI / Idoc for warehouse connection, Transportation ManagementBilling, Pricing, Settlement Management: Billing functions, Credit / Debit, e-invoicing, country specific requirements for BR, IN, MX, outputs, copy control, tax determination, pricing, S4 settlement management functionality, interface to FI, account determination.Able to collaborate with stakeholders/internal customers as well as external partiesExcellent communication skills, written and verbalMust be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workloadAble to Multi-task and work under tight deadlinesMust be able to work independently with little to no supervisionDesiredExperience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP modulesAbility to read code (and debug; nice to have)Business knowledge and process design skillsAbility to analyze problems and provide clear recommendationsStrong organizational skillsGood interpersonal skillsBasic knowledge in WM, GTS , TMSMust be an effective problem solverMust be willing to travelCelanese is a global leader in chemistry, producing specialty material solutions used across most major industries and consumer applications.
