Job Summary Reporting to the Global IT Director, the Inventory Control Specialist oversees the flow of supplies and equipment, tracks and analyzes inventory maintenance, and develops protocols for loss mitigation, as well as recommends optimizations that lead to more efficiency. This person will also be expected to minimize expenses and delivery times, improve existing processes, and compose ad-hoc reports for executive consumption. Responsibilities Process requisitions, pulling and delivering of stock uniforms to ordering departments. Receiving and delivering of special orders uniforms to the appropriate departments. Conducting inventory counting processes and manage the inventory storage space in the warehouse to ensure there's enough room to store new product shipments. Creation and developing of inventory processes on tools like Excel, Salesforce, Power Bi, etc. Ensures that all the 50 units have been inventoried and requisitions are keyed and pulled accurately in a timely manner. Ensure that assigned orders are pulled and delivered in a timely manner. Notifies manager department of back orders or substitutions by attaching the appropriate notification form to their orders. Keeping your coworkers informed of the status of received goods that require special handling attention. Requirements Experience in têxtiles/uniforms/retail industry. Advanced Excel level. Management of inventory indicators. Management of inventory systems. Good organizational skills to take charge of organizing inventory and improving the efficiency of the selection and shipping process. Ability to manage multiple or scalability projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner. Good written and verbal communication skills are crucial for negotiating contracts, interviewing new vendors, and educating warehouse employees. Problem‑solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome inventory problems.
