Job Title FEA Engineer Location Milwaukee, WI Duration Long Term Job Description & Skill Requirement Perform advanced engineering modeling and simulation for mechanical robustness and thermal performance of energy storage systems. Closely collaborate with battery system and mechanical design engineers to develop innovative designs. Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) simulations to validate battery design concepts regarding mechanical robustness. Develop high-quality engineering documentation. Hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Possess thermal and mechanical modeling and simulation skills. Have 5+ years of experience in FEA, specifically with ANSA or Hype mesh and ABAQUS tools. Experience working in the automotive industry, particularly with OE Automotive and Tier 1 systems. Fluent in English language. 1+ year experience with CAD (SolidWorks). Desirable: experience with FEA for crash, crush, mechanical shock, and vibration analysis. Knowledge of Li-Ion battery systems thermal management and mechanical design is an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
