This role will involve preparing risk reports, monitoring risk-related metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Role ResponsibilitiesRisk Policy and Procedures Design:Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.Ensuring policies are in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.Continuously reviewing and updating risk management frameworks to address emerging risks.Risk Monitoring and Reporting:Preparing detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.Monitoring key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to identify potential risks.Conducting regular risk assessments and stress testing to evaluate the impact of various scenarios on the business.Risk Mitigation and Control:Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks across the organization.Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.Collaborating with various departments to ensure effective risk controls are in place.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Communicating with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required reports.Staying updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the business.Role QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., FRM, PRM) is preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management within the financial services industry, preferably in a SOFIPO or similar entity.In-depth knowledge of risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver comprehensive risk reports.Proficiency in risk management software and tools.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Fluency in Spanish and English.EEO StatementWe create customer value – We strive to always create valuable experiences for our users in everything we do.
