Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world Responsibilities Design, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet production and quality targets. Analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support new product introductions, tooling development, and process validation activities (PPAP, APQP). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production to resolve technical issues. Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Monitor key process indicators and drive actions to achieve operational excellence. Problem resolution using Quality tools (e.g. 5 Why´s, A3, etc) and close activities Problem analysis through SPC on process Responsible for industrial engineering activities: time and motion studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, documentation creation. Suppliers’ contracts, contact and following. In relation to the environmental management system (ISO 14001) please find attached Matrix of Responsibilities SGA-RE-012 Participate as an internal auditor, brigade member or member of the health and safety commission if necessary for the fulfillment of safety, health and environmental objectives. Qualifications · Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Productive Process (Desirable) · Automotive Industry experience as process engineer (At least 2 years necessary) · Core Tools · Lean Tools · IATF norm · SAP knowledge for BOM, routers, costing, material creation and inventories. · Excellent organizational and self-directed planning skills The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
