Job Summary
The A/R Senior Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoices, contributing directly to the company’s financial health. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to drive clear, measurable results in collections and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
A/R & CollectionsPrepare and send accurate, timely customer statementsRecord and apply payments to customer accountsFollow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment disputesSupport and apply the collections approach recommended by managementResearch and resolve billing disputes, short payments, and unapplied cashIdentify high-risk accounts and escalate when appropriateCustomer ManagementMaintain accurate customer and credit records in ERP/collections systemsStrengthen customer relationships while protecting company interestsEnsure invoices reflect negotiated payment terms and comply with financial policiesResolve billing discrepancies efficiently and professionallyCompliance & ControlsSupport healthy cash flow and reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standardsImplement and maintain strong internal procedures and controlsReporting & AnalysisSupport month-end close with timely and accurate reportingPrepare AR metrics and reports for finance and leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve process efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in A/RFluency in Spanish and English (required)Solid understanding of B2B credit, accounting, and A/R processesExperience with account reconciliation and outbound collectionsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or technical product environmentsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsResults-driven, proactive, and adaptable to changing prioritiesWork ModelLocation: Mexico CitySchedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)Employment Type: Full-time
