Descripción del trabajo Mexico City, Mexico | Posted on 12/18/2025 The Account Lead will be responsible for leading the Daymon Mexico Private Brand team inside one of the most important retailers in Mexico. This role requires deep expertise in best‑in‑class private brands, retail, brand development, product management and cross‑functional program leadership. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, project leadership, commercial acumen, and strong capability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, Quality, Supply Chain and external suppliers. This position is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of all strategic and operational components of the Private Brand program: PB Strategy, Brand Development, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Category Management, Governance and Culture. Main Responsibilities Achieve budgeted financial goals. Analyze and determine the most crucial needs of the assigned customer team and align the organization and talent to deliver on those needs. Support account team in developing sales plans. Manage customer relationships with clearly defined matrices for accountability. Increase Daymon business connectivity with customers. Execute shareholders mapping to identify critical initiatives and relationships, and lay out short‑ and long‑term plans. Allocate resources at the account level. Demonstrate functional expertise in all facets of Private Brand & Branding via on‑the‑job development, education and networking opportunities. Develop strong supplier relationships by aligning and delivering on mutually established goals. Ensure appropriate support for top relationships. Attract, develop and retain key talent for collective customer and enterprise goals. Motivate, direct and inspire on‑site teams to deliver on agreed metrics, coordinating necessary resources across the enterprise. Drive employee satisfaction and enhance trust and work experience. Identify expected decision‑making and risk‑taking levels for team members. Execute new strategic initiatives for the account. Elevate conversation with customers to the strategy level. Manage the Daymon value equation with senior customer teams. Support customer issues relating to cost/value. Foster thought leadership within the account team. Demonstrate understanding of the Private Brand landscape, best practices and current customer positioning. Own relationships with assigned customers and suppliers. Direct, delegate and empower effectively. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Graduate degree preferred. 10+ years of CPG and/or retail experience. Experience building and nurturing brands; private brand management plus. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams. Strong background in bringing together diverse teams. Ability to set and achieve budgets. Proven track record of developing talent and willingness to mentor associates. Good grasp of Product Development, Marketing, Retail, Category Management and Logistics. Highly effective in building and maintaining customer and associate relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
