Production Supervisor I – Parker Hannifin Join to apply for the Production Supervisor I role at Parker Hannifin Be among the first 25 applicants Position Summary Follow up the production lines ensuring that orders are fulfilled on their promised dates. He is a facilitator of the productive areas and must maintain safety, engagement, HPT, and productivity indicators according to the standards indicated in his responsibilities. Follow up on the coordination of tasks for the entire shift. Responsibilities Assurance of OpEx, Shipping Lines, Safety 360 and 24/7 strategies. Involvement in the area Audits such as 5Ss, safety and FOD program. Follow up on the backlog weekly and collaborate in Green Sheet definition monthly. Responsible for procedures and standard works related to the Quality system, compliance with waste disposal, CTPAT and Clients. Involvement in decision-making on the Production floor of the assigned shift. Audit and supervise SW & hour by hour format in all areas. Review the production workers’ payroll. Always keep the work shifts of the workers updated in PeopleSoft. Availability of rotation and support on weekends when required. Lean follow-up, actively participate and lead the plant's OpEx strategy (HPT, TIB, VSM and 5´s Audit). Actively participate in continuous improvement events and Value Stream Mapping activities. Responsible for monitoring the Shipping Lines strategies of the Value Streams of the assigned shift (5 days in advance in production). Serve as the second level for associates in conflict resolution, follow-up on discipline issues, problem solving, permits, vacations, attendance, administration of overtime, among others. Escalate any issues to management if necessary. Keep the workplace clean and safe according to the 5's standards. Lead the efforts to empower and create a sense of belonging in the associates within the work cell through high performance teams. Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies. Participate in morning meetings with information from your area (Run the Business). Keep the PeopleSoft system updated with reprimands from production staff. Provide direction and support. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline. Experience: A minimum of 3 of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the automotive industry (highly desirable) English level: Intermediate English. Technical Skills Management of unionized personnel Lean knowledge. Microsoft Office tools. Troubleshooting tools. Training of new staff. Soft Skills Organized Strong interpersonal skills.
