We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong analytical and predictive modeling skills to support our freight brokerage pricing strategy. You will leverage data, market trends, and operational insights to develop dynamic predictive models and enhance overall profitability. This role combines data analysis, forecasting, and business strategy to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing in a fast‑paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze historical freight data to identify pricing trends, lane profitability, and cost fluctuations. Build and maintain predictive models that forecast freight rates using market indicators (fuel, capacity, demand, seasonality, etc.). Partner with operations and sales to quote new lanes, bid on RFPs, and create rate strategies that balance competitiveness and margin goals. Support management with data‑driven recommendations. Automate and improve data collection processes for continuous forecasting accuracy. Provide insights on customer profitability, lane performance, and pricing elasticity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics. Proficiency in English. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python / R for data manipulation and analysis.
