About The Team FIS Prophet is an award-winning global actuarial modelling platform used across the Life, Annuity, Health and P&C industries. The Business Solutions Group supporting the Prophet solution is looking for an actuary to support Prophet in Latin America, based in Mexico. You will join a team of other actuaries and technology specialists who collectively support companies in the Americas region. In addition to the other Business Solutions Executives, you will work directly with professionals in Development, Solutions Management, Sales, Professional Services and Managed Services as we support our clients and prospects. What You Will Be Doing You will engage with FIS Prophet prospects and clients in order to understand their requirements and advise them on how Prophet can best be configured to meet their needs. In this advisory capacity, you will build proof of concept models, deliver demonstrations and teach clients and prospects about our solution. The Main Activities You Will Perform Are Understanding and identifying clients’ needs Demonstrating the value of the Prophet solution, unique to each client or prospect Building proof of concept models to demonstrate capabilities Maintaining an industry presence to raise awareness of Prophet in Latin America Regularly visit clients to understand their evolving needs and use of Prophet What You Bring Membership of the local or international Actuarial Association Experience in the insurance industry, with deep knowledge of pricing, reserving, and capital practices in the Latam market Experience with actuarial modelling software and technology Excellent communication (written and oral) skills – in English, Spanish and Portuguese Excellent organization skills and time management Added Bonus If You Have Experience with Prophet Knowledge of Latin America insurance market Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS17, IFRS4 Consulting experience in Latin America Proficiency in Portuguese What We Offer You Competitive salary and excellent bonus potential A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities Privacy Statement FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
