Position Overview We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role supports our clinical staff by transcribing medical information in real time, updating records and billing data, and managing routine administrative tasks that help ensure smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities Serve as a documentation assistant during clinical visits, transcribing patient information into Electronic Health Records (EHR) in real time. Accurately update patient billing information and maintain up-to-date records. Manage routine administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with the onsite team. Support efficient clinical operations by maintaining clear, timely communication across team members. Use a variety of digital tools including Zoom, EHR systems, and virtual phone line software to support day-to-day tasks. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic standards for data security and patient confidentiality. Qualifications Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Strong understanding and fluency in medical terminology. Proven experience using medical software systems, Zoom, and virtual phone platforms. Prior experience in the medical field or a formal education background in healthcare (e.g., medical assistant program, nursing, public health). Excellent listening, typing, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting. Schedule Full-time: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekend shifts.
