Responsibilities:

  • Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot and support Waters' product suite (Informatics)
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers ensuring their success
  • Lead customer expectations, by communicating work performed and providing follow up plan if needed
  • Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed
  • Deliver system level training at customer sites
  • Lead service inventory according to Waters policies
  • Issue field service reports daily to detail work performed
  • Work with Sales team in respect to identifying future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/master's degree in IT, systems engineer, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering is desired.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous Waters product suite (Informatics)
  • Ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication & social skills.
  • Strong organizational & analytical mindset with a strong strive to resolve open issues.
  • Commit to results, able to work independently, multitask and prioritize based on business targets.
  • Must possess a strong customer focus.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Spanish).

Travel:

  • This is a territorybased position with travel within the country and occasional travel to other countries for activities such as local business support, meetings, and training.
  • Valid passport is required.
  • VISA is required.
  • Driver's license is required.
