The Patch Coordinator offers personalized support to Platinum clients to ensure a seamless service experience. This is achieved by:

  • Acting as the main high-level technical contact for all customer issues
  • Training customers on the efficient utilization of Oracle support
  • Leading the provision of essential services and evaluations
  • Regularly engaging with customers to grasp the criticality of their systems
  • Coordinating the resolution of specific customer requests by engaging the appropriate Oracle resources

Job Requirements:

Essential requirements include outstanding customer service experience, excellent written and oral communication abilities, structured organization skills, and in-depth knowledge of crucial IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies as well as practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in multi-tier architecture environments is necessary
  • Proficiency in database upgrades and patching, general computer programming, and demonstrated expertise in database analysis, prioritization, data, and process mapping
  • Fundamental comprehension of computer networking, systems, and database technologies
  • Capability to manage various tasks
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English language
  • Candidates should be highly driven, self-starters, team players, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setup
  • Project Management capabilities, Critical issue management

Desired Skills / Certifications:

  • Oracle RAC, CRS, Cellcli, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard knowledge is advantageous
  • Expertise with Oracle Engineered Systems and Oracle Technology
  • Experience in Oracle installation, patching, and upgrading within live environments
  • Proficiency in OEM, Grid control, RMAN, Linux OS, Oracle Database administration
  • Server and storage setup and management
  • Any Oracle certifications are beneficial
  • ITIL certification is advantageous
