The Sr. Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, fostering, and expanding relationships on a large scale with top consumer brands, media firms, agencies, and content creators that are highly popular among customers.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with partners to create compelling experiences that enrich Alexa-enabled devices and services, enhancing customer support in various aspects of their daily lives, ranging from entertainment to home management and personal efficiency.


Our ideal candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, along with the knack for building rapport with top-level executives.

This individual should also possess the technical know-how to troubleshoot and lead initiatives involving all stakeholders, including close collaboration with our AI product and engineering teams, both internally and externally with partners.


This is a senior position that demands strategic thinking regarding business prospects, product roadmaps, and technological trends, as well as aligning partner needs with Amazon Alexa's priorities. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Define strategic account plans for third-party companies providing content and/or experiences through Alexa-powered devices.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with top-level and operational executives from major multinational corporations.
  • Outline and finalize agreements encompassing technical, commercial, and marketing commitments.
  • Implement partnerships to ensure prompt fulfillment of agreed upon contractual terms and obligations by all involved parties.
  • Coordinate partner activities with internal marketing, product, legal, and engineering units.
  • Prepare and present progress and impediments in business reviews to senior management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in formulating, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Demonstrated expertise in shaping strategies that impact executive decisions organization-wide
  • History of handling programs across multifunctional teams, establishing procedures, and coordinating release schedules
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing
  • Proven capabilities in account management and a track record of establishing and overseeing executive-level relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in interpreting data and providing business suggestions
  • Experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing intricate legal agreements
  • Background in negotiating software and services agreements
  • MBA degree
