Remote role in Mexico City.

How will you make an impact? (Objective)

The Business Developer is a consolidated visionary leader with business acumen and an expert Marketer / Strategic Thinker & Planner / business plans developer - communicator - executer primarily in Mexico.

An extended knowledge in other countries in the Latam region will be a plus.


The role requires a track record of success building and capitalize commercial opportunities, high level relationships and growth of the businesses within the defined vertical markets (Clinical, Food and Pharma).


What will you do? (Responsibilities)

Understanding of the Clinical, Food and Pharma vertical markets as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities, and competition, preferably food market
:

Identify, develop, and execute potential distributors in the region (preferably Mexico) to increase penetration, create demand and expand brand awareness
:

Identify sales opportunities by developing an actionable plan to visit end users in each vertical with the support of the distributors
:

  • Deliver incremental growth objectives using input from business units and sales teams to grow the core business and expand market opportunities.
  • Identify key trends, market drivers and customer requirements for the vertical's products and services, including potentially disruptive technologies.
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with key customers and opinion leaders to anticipate and meet current and future needs.

Education & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor degree or comparable education in Business Administration or similar (Plus Microbiology background).
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the food industry
  • High degree of technical competence and confidence. Ability to interface with the corresponding community of the markets to the highest level
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel %)
  • Computer and internet knowledge
  • Fluent English language skills oral and written
  • Full and current driving license.

Experience:

- +5 years of Sales experience.

  • Strategic Change Management and Knowledge Management Experience, as well as Brokerage Networks business model implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate and implement strategic business plans with market intelligence, high level relationships & Holistic approach as complete added value solutions provider
  • Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and guide successful execution of sales strategies and new product introduction; including the development / optimization of sales channels
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment
