What is the job about?
The Senior Service Sales Engineer will be responsible to coordinate commercial buildings Aftermarket Sales across Mexico and the Caribbean. Will collaborate with Service Delivery, Sales, OEMs, ASPs and channel partners to achieve sustainable Aftermarket sales growth.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Own the Aftermarket Sales P&L for assigned geography.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual SSPKI and SOFFE sales targets and goals.
  • Actively support Workshops in growing the SOFFE business in their region.
  • Develop programs to actively promote the value of Grundfos Aftermarket Service, including training and supporting the CBS Sales team, channel partners and OEMs to sell and support Aftermarket Service.
  • Conduct customer prospecting calls to qualify opportunities.
  • Act as technical expert and key point of contact for buildings aftermarket clients.
  • Project handle complex sales solutions as needed.
  • Connect with multiple stakeholders at customer (reliability engineers, energy managers, mechanical engineers, digital transformation officers, COOs, sustainability engineers).
  • Follow precall planning process and risk assessment before onsite visits.
  • Represent Grundfos at tradeshows, exhibits, seminars, short courses, etc.
  • Understand the customer's needs and ability to build a value solution.
  • Effectively communicate the vision of how our Grundfos Aftermarket solutions will improve success for our clients and endusers.
  • Actively listen and engage with clients and identify how
  • Grundfos' value proposition supports their business needs.
  • Travel with external sales (Sales, channel partners & Service Delivery) to visit clients and be able to guide the discussions toward value propositions.
  • Actively and strategically close complex technical

Aftermarket Sales deals:

  • Collaborate with Customer Service coordinators to promote accountability for ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.
  • Effectively identify new sales leads and define the Aftermarket Sales process for specific clients and verticals.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Aftermarket sales.
  • Solid communication skills written and verbal both English & Spanish
  • Must have experience with technical sales and experience selling complex deals.
  • Understands sales funnel metrics and alignment to organizational goals.
  • Prioritizing efforts in alignment to goals and needs, differentiated each prospect.
  • Highly developed fieldbased (customer facing) sales skill sets. High level of comfort with ambiguity; can pivot quickly during sale; change management selling skills.
  • Availability to travel up to 50%; domestically.
