Also responsible for accuracy of posting and payment in a timely maPosition Responsibilities:
- Verify invoices are properly approved for payment in compliance with company policy.
- Review, code and post accounting for invoices in accordance with company accounting policies.
- Determine that appropriate sales tax has been charged by the vendor.
- Process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
- Reconcile company records to monthly vendor account statements. Aggressively follow up on all differences.
- Continually consider ideas to improve the purchasing and payment processes.
- Responsible for maintenance of vendor files including addresses and federal EIN numbers.
- Maintain organized files for paid invoices and vendor payments.
- Assist controllers with monthly reporting for key expense accounts.
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook
- Any other duties as assigned
