We're looking for a dynamic Delivery Manager to join our team in Mexico City, collaborating with colleagues from the USA, India, and Poland, focusing on driving innovation in application infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD tooling across various Thomson Reuters products.

About the role:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the global Delivery Team to ensure progress and successful tech designs, development, testing, and implementation
  • Act as an escalation point for highly sensitive issues, including release management functions
  • Collaborate with application development teams and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables
  • Work with security, data center, and service governance teams to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, expectations, and certifications
  • Articulate complex problems, concepts, and solutions effectively to different audiences
  • Enhance productivity, quality, and reliability

Be a people leader:

  • Lead a diverse team of global engineers
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and offer thought leadership on projects and responsibilities
  • Implement effective talent management practices and optimize talent usage across the portfolio
  • Coach and mentor current and future leaders; identify training and growth opportunities proactively
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity about emerging technologies

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations
  • Ability to set direction and motivate team members to engage and deliver on a vision
  • Understanding of technologies used in building, releasing, and operating distributed application systems
  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with tools like GitHub/GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Services
  • Quick learner when it comes to adopting new technologies
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, presentation, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented management style
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy tackling complex technical and business challenges
