We are on the lookout for top talent for the role of Senior Buyer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Purpose:

To facilitate the development and transmission of replenishment signals to production while ensuring their availability and feasibility.

This role also entails ensuring a steady supply of components through the management of Supply Chain Processes, reports, and metrics, and effective communication of any constraints internally and externally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for setting and overseeing inventory targets and implementing processes for target achievement.
  • Managing raw material procurement and material flow activities at manufacturing facilities.
  • Developing and maintaining efficient inventory replenishment systems to identify risks and mitigate disruptions.
  • Supporting procurement policies, process enhancements, and ensuring timely delivery and inventory management for assigned materials.
  • Planning component recovery and maintaining communication with suppliers regarding forecasts and production events.
  • Addressing capacity issues and resolving inventory non-conformities.
  • Handling slow-moving and obsolete inventory processes and ensuring adherence to raw material targets.
  • Upholding safety protocols and environmental responsibilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Handling business matters and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires (6-8) years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and collaboration across all organizational levels.
  • Preferably, knowledge of GMP/ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and issue resolution within the supply chain.
  • PC literacy and familiarity with related software.
