Job Title: Material Planning Analyst at Flex
To support our exceptional teams who are dedicated to creating innovative products and driving our company's growth, we are seeking to hire a Material Planning Analyst situated in Guadalajara, North Site.
The role of the Material Planning Analyst revolves around managing materials/purchasing data, providing essential information to other production departments, overseeing contracts, maintaining Certificates of Conformance for all suppliers, and developing and managing schedules for external parts.
What a typical day entails:
- Assist in data auditing for accuracy and prepare summarised reports, spreadsheets, graphics, and charts based on data research.
- Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts derived from research of data from multiple sources such as customer bills of material reports and staff metrics.
- Identify and resolve data integrity issues, including quotations.
- Proactively flag potential metric-related issues.
- Suggest process and communication enhancements concerning metric tracking activities.
- Monitor material financial performance and take necessary corrective actions.
- Review RMA transactions daily.
- Generate weekly purchase orders encompassing all client components.
- Perform data entry for clients.
- Update content lists and item master records.
- Create DPT packing lists for LCAD repairing.
- Manage client material supply and bulk RMA service.
- Undertake specialised duties such as inventory control, supply chain management, and material planning for specific positions.
- Establish pricing research tools.
- Conduct detailed bill of materials research by site.
- Carry out general reporting and activities for supplier scorecarding.
- Validate site pricing through a common cost review process.
- Aid in supply chain transfer and risk management for NPI.
- Provide PPV targeting, tracking, and asset velocity.
- Design, oversee, and control various data research tools.
The experience we seek:
- BS degree in Administration, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field.
- Experience in the electronic manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Extensive background in materials planning.
- Experience with CTB reports, excess validation, ECOS analysis, and Kinaxis simulations.
- Solid understanding of MRP.
- Thorough experience in NPI.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Flexible scheduling availability.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain an organised approach.
