El Gerente de Control de Productos es un puesto de nivel gerencial intermedio a cargo de brindar total liderazgo y dirección a un equipo de empleados, para garantizar la integridad, precisión y exactitud de los libros y registros bancarios en coordinación con el equipo de Finanzas.

El objetivo general de esta función es controlar y apoyar la integridad de datos y conciliación de libro mayor, atribución de ganancias y análisis de nuevas actividades, control de valoración y pérdidas y ganancias de productos, e informes de balance.


Responsabilidades:
Brindar dirección operativa al equipo de Finanzas. Ayudar a contribuir al desarrollo de nuevas técnicas, modelos y planes. Resolver problemas variados y considerables que puedan afectar al negocio. Realizar análisis detallados sobre problemas y soluciones recomendadas, según corresponda. Analizar la información mediante el conocimiento profundo de las prácticas y los procedimientos de la industria. Redirigir anomalías y problemas con eficiencia y puntualidad. Supervisar, motivar y desarrollar al equipo, y garantizar que la calidad de las entregas cumpla o supere las expectativas.

Evaluar adecuadamente el riesgo cuando se toman decisiones comerciales, demostrando una consideración particular por la reputación de la empresa y protegiendo a Citigroup, sus clientes y activos, al impulsar el cumplimiento de las leyes, las reglas y los reglamentos correspondientes, acatando la política, aplicando un juicio ético sólido en relación con el comportamiento personal, la conducta y las prácticas comerciales y escalando, administrando e informando los problemas de control con transparencia, así como supervisar de manera efectiva la actividad de otros y crear responsabilidad con aquellas personas que no mantienen estos estándares.


Calificaciones:
Entre 5 y 8 años de experiencia relevante. Demuestra una comunicación escrita y verbal clara y concisa de manera constante.

Educación:
Título universitario/de licenciatura o experiencia equivalente.

The Spread Products business is a market maker for corporate loans, corporate debt, credit default swaps (CDS), mortgage backed securities (MBS) and structured products like tranches and CDOs.

Other products covered by these desks for hedging risk may include treasuries, interest rate swaps, equities, and futures.

The candidate will be placed within a team that supports the business, where the candidate will be exposed to a diverse set of financial products and develop an understanding of the risk attributes (greeks) used to measure exposure and manage these products.

As Assistant Vice President, candidate will be responsible for the management of experienced product control team members within one of the Spread sub-business entities.

As Supervisor, the candidate will be expected to coordinate both project and people management functions and will be accountable for the implementation of Regulatory Requirements, including Profit Attribution Analysis, End User Computing, Front-to
  • Back Reconciliation Completeness, etc.
Applicant will be working directly with Senior Product Control management and responsible for escalating control concerns or obstacles faced by the Finance team.

Responsibilities include:

Daily analysis and assessment of adjustment accuracy and appropriateness Direct Supervision of SP sub-business staff members Coordination of project implementation and maintenance of End User Computing reporting Leading of checkpoint and development meetings with junior staff members Providing Senior Management with detailed assessment of control weakness and options by which to remediate within the team Serve in leadership capacity over junior staff members, coordinating and directing expert sessions, providing management with evaluation of staff progress, and acting in role of mentor guiding best practices.
