You will make regular calls with external customers and develop relationships internally and externally to provide support to Customer Service and Sales.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Following up and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and ontime payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items.
  • Making decisions about release of blocked orders.
  • Assessing credit risk and performing creditworthiness analysis of the customers, to make decisions about order releases, as well as credit limits in accordance with delegation of power.
  • Maintaining accurate credit data and collection files as well as maintaining electronic collection notes for each customer account and take mitigating actions to avoid past due invoices.
  • Follow up on disputes with Customer Service & Sales team to reduce impact on collection.
  • Identifying root causes of issues that cause receivable aging. Report findings to the management and suggest & perform possible courses of action to remedy.
  • Provide training of new credit team members and others as needed.
  • Analyse process and procedures to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Possibility to collaborate in design and implementation of processes to improve efficiency.

Background & Skills:

  • Education preferably in the area of Economy, International Business or Accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience at similar role.
  • Strong in business writing and in professional communication with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Positive "can do" attitude well knowing the value of cooperating and managing challenges as a team.
  • Basic MS Office knowledge with more advanced Excel level
  • Experience with SAP, and if S4/Hana an additional advantage for this role.
  • Strategic thinking demonstrating effective evaluation and problemsolving skills.
  • Engaging customer centric approach securing positive relation building and persistent commitment to resolve disputed items.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding timelines and an occasionally stressful environment.
  • Follow defined strategy to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
  • English language: fluent verbal and written any additional language (intermediate level) will be a benefit.
