Data Analysis Specialist


Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of healthcare? As a Data Analysis Specialist, you will be the driving force behind strategic and operational excellence in our Commercial Organization.

Working closely with our business partners, you will provide reporting and analytical expertise that will shape the future of our operations.


Accountabilities:


In this hands-on role, you will act as an internal consultant to a specific brand team, designing commercial solutions and enabling data-driven decisions.

Your work will be based on thorough analysis and the best available information. You will need a high level of proficiency in syndicated and custom, primary and secondary data.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Quantitative bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and business interaction skills.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, PySpark, Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding in data visualization tools (Qlik and Power BI).
  • Experience in MS Office products
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Knowledge in IQVIA or Komodo Sentinel datasets and understanding towards pharma/healthcare landscape.
  • Proficiency in manipulating and extracting insights from large longitudinal data sources, such as Claims, EMR and other patient level data sets.
  • Analytical thinking and data aggregation skills.
  • Expertise in managing and analyzing a range of large, secondary transactional databases.
  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving ability.
  • Ability to derive, summarize and communicate insights from analyses.
  • Organization and time management skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business leaders and crossfunctional business partners.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management; ability to manage diverse range of simultaneous projects.
  • Knowledge of AZ and Alexion brands and it's science.
