This position reports to the VP, Finance and has primary responsibilities of managing the Company cash (Global), the Insurances and other cash related programs for the Company.
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with banking partners and other lenders and managing credit facilities, letters of credit lines, and/or term debt on the Company's behalf, including compliance with the underlying covenants.
You will also help execute the cash management strategy and planning, institutional cash investments, credit administration, bank account operations, and payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiles information from around the company to create a routine cash forecasting process, understanding the impact of working capital policies, accounting methods, capital projections, and board authorizations.
- Recommend improvement to daily cash management activities and work closely with AR, AP, Payroll, Controllership, and accounting to provide quarterly cash flow forecast.
- Administration of bank accounts and accesses, including opening, closing, and monitoring of worldwide bank accounts and designing of international cash pools.
- Initiating, validating, approving, and releasing corporate payments.
- Analyzes and recommends optimal capital structure alternatives and roadmap to implementation.
- Evaluates the company's borrowing capacity and optimal use of debt to finance future growth, focusing on current and future leverage metrics and rating agency implications.
- Supports and manages financial structure, negotiating and executing financing transactions as needed, including bank facilities, debt financing, lenders, documentation review and covenants.
- Recommend and implement approved Foreign Exchange hedging strategies and place as well as settle FX trades.
- Ensures Treasury strategies are aligned to support business growth while minimizing risk.
- Guarantees global banking needs are sufficient to support the business.
- Develops a strategy and corresponding policies and procedures for the company's global banking structure.
- Enhances operational efficiency, while minimizing risk and banking fees.
- Periodical review of Treasury policies relating to cash management, approval limits, bank mandates, and risk management.
- Lead the insurance renewals and claim management for property, D&O, General liability, fiduciary, and worker comp insurance programs.
Skills & Experience
- BA/BS in Business or Accounting
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership, plan and execute to completion on projects
- Provided continuous improvements of existing business processes and able to build + support new business models
- Process oriented with strong interpersonal, supervisory, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fastpaced setting, work under pressure and meet deadlines required with the highest level of accuracy
- Must speak Spanish (fluent) and English (proficient)
- Ability to build relationships across all business functions
