POSITION SUMMARY:

To drive training strategy, operational excellence and execution within Mexico market (both Own & Operated & Liverpool concessions). In addition, owning key partnerships with International Operational and Training leads in International business, driving synergy and consistent execution together with Snr Manager International Associate Experience. Synthesizing and adopting key content, relevant to International markets from North America team, via International Associate Experience lead for flawless and consistent execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training Strategy

  • Develop training framework and playbook for MX market, based on needs assessment and with clear application to other Geos-channels
  • Identify and focus on key / common training pillars enabled by tools and content: Onboarding / Leadership / Core & Seasonal Product / Selling Model & Omni Sales Behaviors / NSO
  • Collaborate with International Associate Experience Sr Manager to create and execute seasonal training plan (integrating both Corporate and Field content from existing libraries)
  • Create and maintain training curriculum that supports retention / talent development across all levels
  • Collaboration with other geo needs to encompass common needs and synergies across Own & Partner business

Communications

  • Supports and enables key communication roll-out, keeping up to date with latest content releases and participation in key events i.e. Domestic conferences
  • Maintains Zip-line communication updates in market and innovates / extends access of information to partner business
  • Responsibility to develop initiatives to support field culture engagement and motivation
  • Ensuring on time communications are delivered to support new seasonal concepts, floor sets and visual directives (with clear & simple FAB / Story to support conversion)
  • Communicate weekly with Mexico Field Leadership Team to identify talent needs and plans.
  • Communicate bi-weekly with International leads to support with consistent execution across International Geos.
  • Excellence
  • Project lead key operational excellence programs to drive productivity and support comp store acceleration
  • Identify key opportunities in field for process improvement
  • Partner with HR and Field teams to capture talent needs to enhance retention and reduce turn-over
  • Collaborate with International Operations / Geo leads to identify best practice and scaling opportunities

AUTHORITY:

  • Manage training budget (travel & events)
  • Manage and Develop Mexico Training Team
  • Create purchase orders

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.A. in Communications, Business, and/or related job experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
  • English & Spanish business fluency required
  • 8+ years of total, relevant experience, with international experience preferred
  • 4-5 years training experience, with passion for talent development, specifically in retail operations / field and customer service
  • Excellent stakeholder influence skills, strong collaborator
  • 8+ years experience in a supervisory role (with experience in the field preferred)
  • Strategic profile, with demonstrated attention to detail and end-to-end ownership of projects
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • High level of skill/experience in Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexible to travel as necessary and as dictated to the business
