Sr. Engagement Manager - Professional Services

In this role, you will play a key part in leading internal AWS, external partners, and customer teams to deliver AWS cloud products and services that facilitate the achievement of their business goals.

Responsibilities and Abilities Include Delivery
  • Collaborate with various AWS teams to understand customer needs and ensure successful delivery
  • Organize and manage all project phases to guarantee successful outcomes
  • Manage engagement goals and lead teams to achieve customer objectives
  • Adjust project scope and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and sales teams
  • Take ownership, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Hold teams accountable and manage customer expectations
Solutions
  • Lead teams in analyzing goals and guiding them towards successful outcomes
  • Look for ways to enhance process efficiencies
  • Apply strategic thinking to execute project requirements

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills with team members and stakeholders

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of experience leading enterprise-level IT engagements
  • Customer-facing experience, interfacing with executive stakeholders
  • Experience with project management and agile methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Expertise in project management across large engagements
  • Experience managing technical projects with budgets over $1,000,000
  • Collaboration with systems integrators and third parties
  • Experience in cloud transformation programs
  • Active project management certification
  • AWS Experience and Certifications
